Mrs Leanne Stumbles is the Ashwood School piano teacher.  She is a pianist, accompanist and long term full member of the Victorian Music Teachers Association (VMTA), and currently studying towards a Piano Associate Performance Diploma part-time with support from a senior teacher at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, the University of Melbourne.  

Leanne aims to develop the musical abilities of children with special needs as well as their confidence, resilience and social skills through learning to play the piano.  Lessons are for 20 or 30 minutes and require no previous music knowledge.  The program caters for students of all abilities including those unable to read music.
