Ashwood School established the House System by running a student 'house naming' competition.  The names of the Houses are based on the Australian Islands: Flinders, Fraser, Norfolk and Phillip.  

All students are placed in a house team.  Students earn points for their house through participating in various activities throughout the week.  Houses compete for the weekly trophy award which is presented at our whole school assemblies. House sports are held throughout the year and parents are warmly invited to all these activities.

House Leaders are elected early in Term 1 of each years.
