Greetings from the Ashwood School Parents and Friends Association (P&F), we hope you and your families have had a great start to the 2026 school year. 

On Monday night the P&F held its first monthly committee meeting for 2026. We commenced planning for our annual and much-loved Ashwood school activities that will take place this year.  These activities and the P&F Annual Reports will be presented at the P&F Annual General Meeting on Monday 16 March. We extend a warm welcome to our Ashwood School parents and carers to attend!!   

We hope that there is interest from our Ashwood community for parents and carers to join the P&F Committee for 2026, as we require a President, Vice President and Secretary. To hear more about the P&F Committee a brief overview will be provided at next Monday evening's Meet the Teacher night. 

Being on the Committee and undertaking Committee roles does not require a lot of time, as this committee is well supported by our general P&F Committee members and our fabulous staff reps Karen Overall and Sue Bourke.   

A focus for the P&F is to maintain and enhance community connections for Ashwood School. How we do this is by organising low key events where parents and carers can come together to meet other parents and carers in a safe and supportive environment. Each school term a dinner and coffee catch up are organised, Term 1 dates will be communicated shortly.
